Eyes

I was a severe diabetic before I had the my surgery......now after my surgery I am having a terrible time with my eyes ......I was wondering did anyone else have any problems with their eye sight Anita

Good morning Anita. I am also a diabetic. I had been off my medication until last week and poof - a blood sugar of 315. Back on it. At least it is only Glucophage 500 mg one tab twice daily. As far as my eyes are concerned, they are a lot more sensitive now. Also, my iron is very low which affects your eye site. How is your iron? J.

Thanks for a great suggestion of which never entered my brain..I go to the doc the 4th and he will check my level .........making sure I am getting enough of what I need I will certainly ask about the iron thanks a bunch Anita

Anita I was a diabetic and recently my rx seems off. I can't hardly wear my glasses at all. They hurt my eyes. My contacts are better but not as good as they were. I think they seem to strong. Iam ready to go for my yearly check up. Tina

I am diabetic -and off my meds now i have to watch the low sugars. I wear glasses and have been bad cause I haven't had my vision checkup. My eyesight seems "fine". Sometimes I see better w/o my glasses but after a while I get a heachache. I would suggest going for a checkup and keeping us posted as to why you are having vision problems.
