Ok all, this is almost too embarrassing to ask, but I really need advice. My hubby and my sex drive has ALWAYS been great. For about the last 2 months, I have had NO desire at all. Not sure why? I have fun when it's actually going on, but I just would rather sleep. I am really afraid that we will grow apart and that maybe it won't get better. Am I the only one going through this?? I'll take any advice you all are willing to give. Thanks! ~Sherry~

Well some day's we are tired but honestly my sex life was basically void and has been for the last 3 years. After I got pregnant with my daughter in 2002 we stopped having sex. We had a miscarriage before her and blamed ourselves for it and decided we wouldn't have sex during my pregnancy. I know it wasn't us but we just both felt better. Then I had a/f from the time I had her until almost June of 2003. So nothing went on then. Then I started gaining weight real real bad and we just couldn't do it. Things are picking up now and honestly it has never been this good. However I am an oversexed person. I think about it all the time. I am just so glad I am small enough now to actually be able to do it. Maybe it is a hormonal issue??? You just lost all this weight, maybe your hormones are out of wack. You could just not be in the mood. Maybe you can talk to your gyno. and see what he/she says, or suggests. Shannon

Hi Sherry, Sorry, but i can't help you with this one. Actually, i have the opposite problem. I am a single woman and have an extremely high sex drive. My sex drive has always been high, but since surgery, it is out of control. I know this has to do with my hormones and i'm thinking that it will eventually slow down. I'm not sure which problem is worse. I wish you luck in solving your issue, my only suggestion is to maybe talk to your doctor about it. There may be something out there that can help you. Good luck to you!! ~Missy~

I'm sorry Sherry!! I had the same problem like 2 months ago. My boyfriend didn't know what to think or do, but he was really supportive. I bought a book called "The S Factor" and learned a sexy striptease to perform for my sweetie. I went out one day after realizing that I no longer had to buy parachute panties and bought myself a really sexy bra and panties set and some scented lotion and candles and was determined to set the mood. I don't know what it was exactly that changed, but my confidence certainly went sky high. I haven't had any problems since then. I hope this helps ~Jae 275/204/175

Thanks all for the words of encouragement. I know that I haven't been getting in enough protein and water, so maybe the increase I'm doing may help. Also, I think I am going to look for the "S Factor". Thanks again all ~Sherry~

Ok... Male point of view here I had the same problem for 3 months after surgery. Didn't want it, didn't need it..didn't even think about it and I'm here to tell you that was strange for me and my wife was thinking strange tings about me ...After my 3 month check up I asked the Dr about it and she told me that sometimes the B12 deficiency will make you weak and also you may loose the sex drive. She fixed that right up for me. Gave me a B12 shot and I am serious, just ask the wife...that night I was back )) and back and back and back again. The B12 goes away for me in about 3 weeks and I get tired and feel like I can't do anything that last week. I just had my monthly shot yesterday and last night was GREAT !! Hang in there and ask your Dr about and see if maybe it's because your B12 is low.

Tracy, Thanks for the heads up on the B12, I haven't done the greatest on taking it daily. I will be sure to take it religiously! ~Sherry~
