Went for scope - now what does it mean>)

Okay I'm 5 months out and just had a scope done yesterday to rule out possible ulcer and enlarged stoma. No ulcers and stoma looks fine. They did a culture for Ph to rule out any bacteria and I will have the results of that shortly. I was told my pouch is 5 cm long and my anastomosis (sp?) is 12 cm is that a good thing LOL. Anyway the experience was uneventful and gotta love the drugs, I don't remember a thing. Drinking the stuff for the upper GI was far worse. Still have stomach burning so have to meet with the doctor after all the results are in to see where we go from here.

Sorry to hear about your burning... I didn't mind the scope I had--and truly enjoyed sleeping them off for 2 days!! I'm sure you must be a little disappointed the scope didn't find the solution... Hope you find your answer, soon!! Hang in there! Beth -90
