poll - thanks, sue...
i haven't been around and will go back and read the days of posts i've missed. i haven't read any of the other months but our september board seems like a pretty active group, don't you think? it's nice to know i can come here and read from my peers in the middle of the night or whenever i need support or company.
1)starting height, weight and size:
you know i thought i was 5' 71/2" but then i got measured recently at 5' 6" so i'm gonna check that; i started at 325 (a high of 336), well i always wore off sizes (we be bop 5x or making it big size 3 - like a 30/32, i think)
2)current weight and size, total lost
i have been at exactly 240 for over 4 weeks(!), lost 85 #'s. i just am wearing size 22 pants - no elastic, not stretchy fabric at all and lined! and pullover tops in 1x and 14/16.
3)favorite foods of the week
i'm just not into food. i couldn't exist though without cheese, lately thin slices of good cheddar or smoked gouda. with some avocado slices and red onion.
4)wls concerns of the week
well, i am in a real plateau - no weight loss in over 4 weeks. i've had a lot of stops, lasting one - three weeks but this is the longest. this time i'm not worried though - i look at it like my body needs a breather. i get a little nervous but then i come to my senses. i'm trying to ignore my saggy neck and arms.
5)any WOW moments you'd like to share
i had a series of them last night - we took my 23 month old son to see the sesame street live theater production in a grand old theater. i was able to sit in the seats and cross my legs. i would always fill in seats and spill over the top. i had room to spare. and crossing my legs is such a new thing for me. and no elastic or drawstrings in my pants after 20 years! got myself fitted for bras this week. always wore a 50 or 52 d. walked out with 44ddd and 46 ddd (2 different makers).
6)do you have a goal weight, if so, how much left to lose?
i would like to lost 1/2 of my former self to be at 160 - that's another 80 #'s. i remember when my goal was to be 200, then it was 180.
