So this is just to let everyone know that YES it does happen!!! I get ATLEAST 90 grams of protein a day, drink ATLEAST 100oz of water a day, and yes take all my vitamins plus flax, plus zinc, and Biotin and yes I do it everyday!!! Still my hair is almost all gone!! It started falling out at 3 months, today is my 5 month anniversary and its still falling out. I have however lost 90 pounds!! I feel great in every other aspect, and even with the blad spots popping up everyday I would do it again in a heartbeat!!! Yes it does get to me and yes i have cried and felt like crap over it than i come to my sinces!!! So for all those out there who are freaked out about the hair loss..I would say you have to weigh the pros and cons!! I would rather be heathy, live longer, feel better, be more active than have a nice head of hair any day!! Plus it will grow back, it will be thick again. Hope everyone is doing great, much love to all my pre and post op buddies ((((()))))

I am glad your able to find some happiness through all the hair loss. I figure if mine gets to bad i'm getting a wig or something like it. I lost a lot of hair after having my daughter so I am hoping this lasts about as long and comes back just like it did after having Kenzie. The only thing is that I had her 2.5 years ago so I didn't have all that much time to enjoy the hair regrowth before I started losing it again. Shannon

Hey Girl, I know what you mean. I'm only in my fifth month, and I'm considering a wig. My hair was already short, so seeing these patches of hair are really depressing! I'm also taking 2500mcg of Biotin from GNC, and the B Complex, B12, multi, and calcium. I'm going to pick up some flax seed tomorrow to get regular. Just hang on to the reality that our hair is supposed to come back stronger and more beautiful! Grace

Hi Christina, I don't know if anyone here uses it but my hairdresser swears by these vitamins called "AG-Pro" amino acids...she said it works wonders. You can buy them at any any pharmacy or i think GNC carries them. I know a few other people that use this product and have seen a difference after a few weeks. I just bought my first bottle and am going to start using it this week. My doctor also said that it wouldn't hurt to take the "hair, skin & nail" vitamins also. I will try both and see what happens. I feel fortunate that i had a lot of hair to begin with, but i have also cut it twice in the past 5 months and i'm not liking that at all. Good Luck!! ~Missy~
