Hey Laura So what are your thoughts about the StriVectin so far? I've heard about it too from a few sources, and was considering it also, but the price has scared me off so far. If the hype is true, it's worth the money, however! I've been doing a similar thing with the skin firming lotions they sell in the drug store. It seems to me that it's helping a bit, but who knows. You are doing fantastic with your weight loss by the way! ~Sue

Hey Sue, Well, I went through the whole tube in a week because I covered every inch of me except for from my elbows to my fingers and my knees to my toes so I am not sure. My fiance said he can see a difference and I can feel a difference but it was only a week so I will try a second bottle and just use it on my arms, neck and one of my breasts to see if there is a difference over the next three weeks. I hate to do only half but I will catch up to it later if there is a difference. I will tell you that my face has never felt smoother and it looks like my stretch marks are fading. I'm just hoping it is not my imagination which is why I will use the next one on one breast and not the other so I will have a comparison. I'll keep you posted on this, plus I will be writing about this in my journal if you want to read more info before I post here. Laura

My face, neck etc have bounced back pretty well much to my suprise. My legs on the top look pretty good, just a tad there. My tummy isn't pretty but no nearly as awful as it could be. I still have a little more then 50 pounds to go so who know's. One thing I can't believe is how thin my leg's, wrist's, fingers and ankles have gotten. I will look at the morrior in my kitchen that is on the floor for my daughter to look at herself in and I can't believe those are my legs. My arms aren't horrible as long as I keep them down. If I were to lift them to say hello I could knock myself out. LOL Shannon

Oh it's hangin alright!!! Goodness!!! I was under the assumption (someone please slap me) that since I'm relatively young that my skin would just snap back. Hmmm, well maybe it would if I had just been fat for a couple of years and not 85% of my entire life!!! I'm seriously thinking of having a tummy tuck and breast lift!!! Hopefully my insurance will cover it, I know my breast reduction will be covered, my doc wanted me to before I even considered my VBG. Now the tummy tuck is another story even though my doc says she will fight tooth and nail to help me in anyway possible but if not, I may even think of getting my tummy tuck financed!!! Any thoughts on that? ~ Jae 275/204/175

Yep, Jelly Belly here too! I expected it, I have had two chilren by C section and another abdominal operation which gave me the smily cut, so I have an apron. What I did not expect was the great big streach mark that showed up on my neck. Aparently I had gained so much weight in my triple chin, that my neck could not take it and stretched. Now that the chin is gone, all that is left is a stretch mark on my neck. Oh well, a stretch mark is better than a chin anyday.
