I'm soooo HAPPY!!!
I have finnally broken my standstill. I have lost 2 more pounds. I have now lost 61lbs. I have been so scared because I have stayed the same weight for nearly 5 weeks.
I like seeing what all of you are doing as I feel that we have so mu*****ommon. I have been reading that many of you seem to have been having a little stall at this time ( about 4 months from surgery). Still, I was convinced that I would be the only one who did not start to lose again. I guess I have a hard time believing how wonderful this WLS tool is.
I found some very old clothes in my attic and I had so much fun trying them on. Most of the clothes are badly out of style, but so much fun to try on. I'm glad that I never throw anything out!! I remember that I felt very fat when I wore them before. Now I feel so "thin" getting them on. What a difference in my thinking!
I am so glad I had this surgery and wish I had done it 20 years sooner. Well, now I am just so very happy and grateful for my new chance at life.
Thanks for being here and inspiring me. You are such nice people.

Congrats!!! I too sometimes wonder about the things going on with me since this surgery and seems everytime I am not sure about something..someone on this board is going thru exactly what I am. I get so much advice and encouragement from my Sept. support group here. Keep up your good work, you are doing terrific!

Hi,
I guess I would not want the inconvienience of "old" snow, just the pretty new snow. We always visited Ohio in the early summer, so I have a one sided view, not really bad weather.
You must really be cold since your surgery. I know how cold I am and it only goes down to 32 a night. Our days have been around 60 to 65.
Bye, Susan
