My pic is on my profile
Hey September peeps,
Well at least now you can see me...if you go to my profile anyways. Not sure how you guys do it with each message you type...I posted two pics...both are pre-op...maybe soon I can actually take a new pic(I hate taking pics) and will get it posted....I hope to by the middle of february...
Hopefully I don't scare anyone....thats not my intention...so happy looking...
April
Reading your profile made me see we have some thing's in common. I think your doing great and it is nice when we can put a face to the name. You aren't scaring anyone with your picture's. I think you are beautiful. Your graduation, 1995 high school right? I graduate in 1995 too and this year is my 10 year anniversary. I am hoping I am close to goal by then. If not I probably won't go but that's ok too. You know, I hate taking picture's too. I tried to avoid the camera as much as I could. Now I have my digital camera so if I don't like it I can just hit delete. So I think the good pic's of me are maybe 2 out of the million's I take and end up deleting.
Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see some post-op pic's of you.

Hi April
It's great to see your face, you are not scary you are pretty! (me, sitting here right now with bedhead and no makeup, that's SCARY) I read your profile too and it was so nice to learn more about you. You are doing an incredible job, both pre-op and post-op with your weight loss. Regarding posting your picture with your posts, if you click on "your profile" I believe you click on the spot where it says "photos". Basically you have to email a photo to an OH volunteer and within a couple of weeks, they set it up so that it comes on with your posts.
Love,
Sue
April, it was great hearing your story. And you're not scary!!! I, on the other hand fat or not fat liked taking pictures and consider myself an amateur photographer. I hated not being in pics cause I wanted people to know I'm there (unless I'm doing a gig, in which case - no one needs to know I'm there). But now I'm pleased to know that I do have a record of heavy pics to compare myself. I was always chunky but okay and then it got out of hand. I think it's a good thing now to take the pics because it shows (if not to others) but to yourself where you were, where you're going and that you got there (your goal). And also by having those still memories - it can remind you never to go back. That's what I want to remember the most and also to make new wonderful memories and be proud of what I've (we've) accomplished. So keep on plugging sister, and keep those photos coming!
By the way, I submitted mine and haven't gotten an answer yet. It's been a week or over. How long did yours take to post??
