What is your weight Goal?

I'm not too sure! I am a shorty at only 5'1", but I'm not really small boned. When I was 17 and 133 lbs (for about a week's duration!) I had a bit of belly, but otherwise looked pretty good. For my height, the range can be anywhere from 100 to 130 lbs depending where you look, frame, etc. Since I'm pretty sure that I will need a tummy tuck, my best guess would be that I would love to get down to 125 and maybe then get my belly lopped off. WOW. Now that's an exciting thought! Thanks for asking Michelle, and good luck to everyone in reaching your goals. ~Sue 237.5/228/170/125??

Michelle, Thanks for asking this question. I enjoy reading posts like this because it is so fun!!! I am 5' 7" and my beginning weight pre-op liquid diet was 278.8. I am now 209 with a total loss of 69.8. My doctors goal for me was 150 when I asked him pre-op. My last visit to him the end of December though, he stated another 30-40 lbs. and I would be pretty good. My personal goal is 140. It's right in range for my height and I am large framed. I don't recall the last time I weighed 140 so that is why I chose that weight. If I don't look healthy at that weight though, I can change it. The closest I recall is 155 when I have lost weight before, which the most recent was a couple of years ago, and I looked pretty good then at that weight. I wasn't perfect, and never will be, but comfortable with that weight. If I stay between 140-160 though the rest of my life, I will be comfortable and happy/healthy. Keep the ball a rolling people. It's great to share with all of you great people!!! Truely, Sherri B

I am 5'2 1/2" - had to get that extra 1/2 inch in there. I was 221 the day of surgery - gained to 238 while in the hospital (lots of water retention) I am 168 now so, a 53 lb loss. It feels sooooo great to shop and not have to go to the "womens" section. I have not seen 168 since before my first pregnancy - 10 years ago. My goal is 130. Anything below that is a bonus in my book. Good Luck everyone! Teri

Great to read everyone's goals and progress!! I am 5'5" and started at 266 lbs. I weighed 203 as of 1/11 and have 150 as my goal---at least for now lol. No real time set on that goal but I would love to meet it before I am a year postop. Did I mention I am also 54 years old? I would love to see how everyone progress as our months pass so lets do this again!! Thanks for the idea Michelle!! Sharon

Hello Everyone, I am 5'7" and started this journey at 331lbs. on 9/17. Today, I am down to 260 lbs (71lbs) and my Dr.'s goal is 165, but I will be happy at 180 -200 lbs. I have set up mini goals along the way, 1st was to be under 300lbs, then under 275lbs, next is the 250lb mark. This in addition to not being on any meds seems to have given me great incentive as I achhieve each goal. Think about it, we are all only 4 months post-op and look at how much we have all achieved in such a short period of time. Moreover, look at how many of us are talking about nearing our goals so soon!!!!!! I wish each of you all the best on your personal journey, and let's all keep up the great work. Remember, we didn't go thru such extreme measures just to fail. I know I didn't....did you? Steel
