Are you losing slow or fast now?
I've lost about 61 or so. But in the beginning I was losing 2, 3 or more pounds a day. (Of course the beginning was diff't). I lost 30lbs in a minute it seemed and then it stopped and then I lost another 30...and now it seems like it stopped again. Is anyone else losing steadily...or did you slow down...should I worry ...should I not ha ha ...I'm a worrier can you tell?
Take Care everyone
I think we all lose differnt, I tend to lose more before my peirod then slow way dowm. A lot differnt than most, people keep saying to push the water and protein and will drop faster,so I am going to try that this week. You are doing good, you are like 13 day's after my date 9-7-04 and I am at -73 I think we hate being the fat person sooooo much we want it off nowwww !!!! It is good that you want more weight off that only mean's that you will work the plan like we are told, you will get there. michelle hall
I averaged about 30lbs a month my first 3 months then in Dec. hit a major stall and only lost 10lbs the whole month. Talk about being worried. I am trying for an average of 25 lbs a month for the first 6 months then about 15 a month after that, God willing. Of course what I want and my body does are two different things. Also don't forget that the first month our bodies were changing drastically and we all were mostly on liquids and pureed foods. I feel as long as we continue doing what our surgeons tell us then we will overcome these "stalls". Good luck and keep up your good work!

I am losing slower now. I was averaging like 1-2 pounds a day, now it is like 2-3 a week. It is still coming off but sloooowly. As long as it is coming off I don't worry. I do have moments where I feel like I have stopped and will be stuck here forever but then I drop a pound and feel better. I hate plateaus but at least i'm not going up up up.... If I were on a regualr diet i'd have started gaining the weight back by now, no matter what I would have tried.

I am losing slowly. I went to see my surgeon and he said it was Okay..but I was not satisfied. So I gifted myself for the holidays 24 sessions with a personal trainer, that will have him assist me for 6 months! Now recently for 2 1/2 weeks I was stalled at 232 and I was stressing out! He said to change my eating a bit and to change my exercise. I realize I was working out to hard for the amount of food I was eating. So instead of the 1 hr cardio and weights I slowed down to the Fat Burning mode and took it easier, and now I'm moving again. It's working smarter not harder. So see what you're eating and exercising and change it up a bit to get your body thinking. As for me I'm not eating no more red meats, pastas or breads like I used to. I eat lots of chicken, fish and tuna - and anything low fat that is not breaded. I think we're all in the recovery mode just yet and our body is surprising us. But keep up the good work cause I'm about 60 lbs lighter too!

We share the same day and are at the same loss I do exactly the same thing -30lbs then a 3 or 4 week plateu I am right there with you. I have been feeling the same way. Only lost 1 lb since Dec. 27th actually gained 4 from period and lost it. But only 1 lb lighter since Dec 27th. I think the -30 then plateu must be our cycle. I keep telling myself as long as i keep going down its okay. And I am a scale addict. I have been thinking about throwing it out the window
I agree with what has already been said- "at least we aren't gaining"--- I have lost 85 pounds and I am also adicted to my scale- in fact I am getting ready to move from Germany to Hawaii and know I can't take my scale on the airplane- so will just have to wait for it to arrive!!!!! Also I still look in the mirror and don't see a change but boy can I tell it in my clothes!!!!! This has been a wonderful ride!!!! Victoria...
i'm losing pretty slow right now - kind of getting on my nerves! i'm hovering right around that -100lbs mark but just can't seem to make it! i'm glad to hear i'm not the only one. i'll go for days and the scale will say the same thing, then all of a sudden i'll drop 3lbs overnight. its crazy!
