selling CPAP on ebay

I thought I could sell my old CPAP machines on ebay and listed them today, after getting bids for over $300.00, ebay pulled the auctions because it is a prescribed item. OH POOP! How else can I sell these machines? And most importantly is it illegal for me to resale these?
