Poll of the week!
Hi everyone
That was so great hearing everyone's responses last week on their progress so far.
I think it would be fun to have a poll of the week!
It's educational!
It's fun!
It's free!
Ok,here goes... What are you eating these days? (I could use some inspiration!)
What foods can you not live without at this point of being post-op, in other words, what foods have become staples for you now?
mine:
1) protein bars
2) miso soup packets (the best!)
3) hot tea
4****d coffee
5) one egg, over medium.
6) Sarah Lee De-lightful wheat bread (45 calories a slice)
7) sugar free popsicles (haven't had em lately but love them!)
8) no sugar added jam (stirred into cottage cheese or spread on toast)
one teaspoon=25 calories
9) splenda
10) kraft nonfat american cheese slices
Of course I eat protein daily in the form of chicken, tuna, beef, etc. whatever's available.
How about you?
Good idea Sue----
Frozen fruit (blueberries, raspberries, peaches etc etc- I find I need them for my 0930 snack)
Sugar free gum
Diet Juice/Tea (mixed in a bottle)
Cyrstal Lite
Cheese sticks
I find myself eating and drinking these steadily....

Keep up the great work everyone.
Hi Sue!
The foods that I couldn't live without are:
- Low Carb/Protein bars (Pria, Atkins, General Mills Momentum)
- Cheese/Cheese/More Cheese
- Low carb eggnog (I froze some since I don't think I can live without a splash of it in my stash decaf chai 0 calorie tea.)
- Sunflower seeds (for those times when I have a serious case of the munchies and need constant hand to mouth action)
- BBQ Soy Nuts
- Walkers Diet Soy Pretzels
- Atkins Endulge Vanilla or Chocolate Crème Bars (gotta have these for when Aunt Flo comes to visit)
- Pepperidge Farms Sugar Free Milanos ( I just discovered these and I swear I can't tell the difference between the real and the SF..YUMMY!)
Last but not least...I don't think I could live without my IDS Whey Isolate Cappuccino. I know it's not a food, but I'm truly addicted to it.
I better get to bed, this is making me hungry!
