I am still a little self concious about posting things like this. Even around here I feel like "the fat girl" because I started heavier and I'm not losing gang busters, though I'm told I'm right where I'm supposed to be, sometimes it feels very slow. It's getting better though.
Hi Marie
I'm so glad you posted. Please don't feel self conscious among us. We are all unified here by our shared experiences with morbid obesity and also we share the same month of rebirth! You are doing wonderfully, you have lost almost 100 lbs from your high weight!!! Congratulations! As for feeling like "the fat girl" I think you'd be amazed at how many of feel that way. Even being about half way down in my weight, I still feel nearly as big as always sometimes. The psychological side of all this is really strange, isn't it? Anyway, keep up the good work, and keep on posting! Let's all help each other through this journey.
Love, Sue
Thanks for your kind words Sue. Some days are better than others. I'm excited to go to the doc again and get a more current weight. I also sent a new pic to the photo address here, it was added to my profile, but not to my posts, so I have to figure out what's up with that. I do look a little different when comparing pictures even if I don't see it looking in the mirror.
