Wow, been a member here for over a year and just NOW noticed they have a page for each month of surgeries This is really neet having a place to chat with people that are all at the same point with WLS. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and glad that I found you all. I'll be sure to keep up with you all. Hi, Amanda! I just recently discovered this page, too! I lurked on the main message board for for months before I even joined!! This website has been a lifesaver. It certainly helped me out the first few months when I was so worried if I were "normal" or not. Still wonder about that one!!! Also, congratulations on your weight loss this far!!! Hi Beth, I couldnt agree more about this website. Without it, I would have been soooo lost and clueless. I researched for 2 years on this site and it has been my life line. Thank you for the "congrats" on the weight loss, it is, truly amazing and mind blowing. 65 pounds in 3 mo, I couldnt lose 65 pounds in a year in my 100's of times trying. I am shocked this site is not wore out from me alone...3 years research and 18 months insurance battle...LOL...I see I am spending more and more time here and with my drs forum and the Q&A....

Hi there sweet, When you said that you had an 18 month insurance battle, I thought this poor person had to have CIGNA. So I went to your profile and sure enough you started out with sucky CIGNA. That is who I have also. I had a 16 month battle, was denied 3x, hired an attorney and after an external review I finally won 16 mo later. That is one emotional rollercoaster ride that I thought was NEVER going to end. but I FINALLY won and to CIGNA its like dumb and dumber are head of that company and training all of them. Im so happy you got to change insurance, NOBODY should have to go through what CIGNA puts you through. Warmest wishes to you........Amanda
