My 3-month celebration

Well finally I get to report my 3 month success, I am down 76 pounds today. This last week I have had a cold/flu virus and bronchitis so I am pleased a*****h to have reached this revised goal or getting into the 200's. I am officially 296 and am damn proud to say so. In May 2004 I was at least 387 pounds. I went to have my bronchitis checked by my PCP and was given a vitamin B-12 shot, cool, I was just going to ask about the dosage of the pills I purchased, but I took what was offered. Now I will get a monthly until my labs state otherwise. The hardest thing so far is keeping track of every bite I take, it is so easy to eat 1200 calories a day or more, so I decided I would shoot for 800 and any overage wouldn't stop me from being a loser. I am thinking about attending OA until I can go back to school and stop thinking about munching all the time. Nuts are a big problem for me an ounce is so small and it's 150-220 calories an ounce, I have got to just learn to say NO to nuts in my diet and in my life and then all will be smoother.

Congratulations on the awesome weight loss! I know that different things work for different folks regarding their eating issues...but it is a good thing that you realize trigger issues regarding YOUR body and are focused on facing them head on. That determination will help you more than you realize down the road. I am doing the same thing! Way to go! Elizabeth~

Linda! Good job on you wt loss! I hear ya on the calories, and I hear ya on the nuts! I had to cut out the nuts because even though they are pretty good for you, they are ridiculously high in calories for a small amount. Hope you feel better with your bronchitis and flu bug. Keep up the excellent work! ~Sue
