Hi All! I am just wondering if you can tell me something simple. I have only lost as of this wednesday(3 months) 44 lbs. I have not been exercising regularly because of complications. After I Start exercising will the weight come off faster? I am just frustrated because I see people at 72-80 lbs down at my time and I woas wondering if I could do anything to boost my loss. I know also I shouldnt compare to others but I cant help it. By the way I am not complaining I feel great and my clothes are fitting better and everything is falling into place. Have a great day! Hi Amybee, I had my surgery the same day as you and I am down 40#. I also think this is slow because some are down 70/80# but that's them, not me. I also have complications, not with the WLS (read profile for info) so I haven't done much exercision either. I hope to once I am better...I will have kidney surgery in two or three weeks and then perhaps I can get some exercise in...I am happy with the 40# weight loss. I feel better that I have in 10 years! Hi there I had my surgery on the Sept. 27 and I am down 48#. Everyone is different. It all depends on how much you weighted to start, how much protein you are or aren't getting in, lots of things. I am just happy that I am still losing. I hit a plateau but I seem to have moved past it for the time being. Just drink lots of water....watch your cravings (if you have them) they do get easier to tame over time....Congrats at your weight loss thus far. Just stick with it and keep your eyes on the prize. Hi Amybee, At the three month point, I too was 44 lbs down. I did not have complications and I am exercising, though not like a fiend. I seem to be averaging 10 lbs down each month. I hope it keeps up and I'll be happy. I don't care if it doesn't go faster but don't want it to slow down much! Keep up the good work. Love, Sue

Hi Amy, I had my surgery the day before you and I am down 48 pounds, which I think is great, as is your weight loss. The important thing isn't so much the numbers, but how you are feeling. Do you have a little more energy, no longer out of breath from walking up stairs? If yo answered yes then your doing good. Everyone will lose at their own pace, keep up the good work

Amy- Sounds like you are right on track to me. I am down 43 lbs. Have my 3 mo check up tomorrow. I have not lost anything this past week. I seem to have those darn stalls right before I have to go weigh in. Anyway, I am not an exerciser - walk maybe twice a week if I am lucky. Hopefully that will change as I lose more. Keep up the great work!!! Teri

I am three months out and I have lost 48 lbs, but over the last week, I have been fluctuating. I really hope my weight gain, how few lbs it is, is water weight. I was like you in the beginning, but the less you have to lose, I think the slower and more healthy the weight loss will be
