Hi Christina,
I'm right there with you. I range from 750 to 1250 every day, with the average probably being around 950-1050. I am losing at a rate that my dr is happy with. It is slow compared to most on this board, but I am also feeling very healthy with no vomiting, nausea, pain or other issues. I feel like it is fine for now, but I too get concerned when I think ahead to six months or two years from now. I hope my capacity to eat doesn't increase a lot more. I don't think I am doing something wrong, I feel this is the pouch my doctor made me and he is very experienced and skilled. I have read profiles of people who lost at the same rate as me or slower and did reach their goals. Try not to worry too much, but do discuss your concerns with your doc. Self blame will get you nowhere, just keep making good food choices. I think many people who aren't using fit day have no idea how many calories they are actually consuming. It can be scary to see the numbers, but also it is an important aid to my tool.
Good luck

Hi Sue,
If you don't mind, how much have you lost so far? I had my surgery the same day as you did and I am down 56 lbs and I have not had a loss in a couple of days but I have not been getting in the amount of protein and water that I normally do. I am starting to pick back up again. The holidays are not hard for me in that I eat to much but that I get so busy that I get off my daily routine with vitamins, water and protein. I must come up with a plan to correct this. Have any ideas? Have a Merry Christmas and Successful and Prosperous New Year. Renee
Hi Renee,
Congrats on your weight loss! You are doing great! I have lost about 50 lbs since surgery. I am 5'1" and have gone from 237 highest weight, 228 day of surgery to current weight of aprox. 178. I've gone from a size 22 to a 14. I don't know what my goal weight is, I'm guessing I need to lose another 50 to 70 lbs.
As far as staying on track w/ our routines during the holidays, I'm open to ideas too! I have been leaving my vitamins next to the computer and I always remember to take them that way. The water I am hit and miss with. Again, if I take a big glass to the computer or to my room, i tend to drink it. Protein I try and eat first, so I usually get enough in. My working out has been slacking because I've been really busy and tired from all the running around. Actually I am physically sore from the cleaning and everything I've done so I guess I've been getting exercise in my own way. I plan to go to the gym today though.
Just make your health a priority and do what you need to do to stay healthy. Not taking your vits and protein is NOT an option, OK???
(((((hugs)))))))
