Hello September People, I'm using (and loving!) Fitday.com to keep track of my protein and calories each day. I know that protein can run between 60-80 G per day. Now, how many calories are you eating a day? Does it matter how large you are to start? Funny, after all the diets I've been on- WLS is a whole new ballgame.

I was told that at 5'10" I need to eat 1200 cals a day. I have lost about 64 pounds so far and have been considering decreasing my intake to about 800 cals a day. The first month I lost 43 pounds and have slowed since then. I have about 130 pounds to go and I don't want to lose any time in my window of opportunity. (Today I am 11 weeks out and I will be offically three months out in two weeks.) Linda 372/308/175

Fitday is awesome. I use it every day too!! My doc has me on 1000 cals a day. I know what you mean by it being a whole new ballgame. What we eat and do now is unlike any diet I have ever done! Take care! KATIE

don't count calories. count carbs and protein, plus keep an eye on sugar per serving. that's it. don't care about calories or fat. makes counting a lot easier!
