Can anyone help me!

I have been in pain since last Tuesday, the pain is in my left side and goes around to my back. I called the doctor and saw him Thrusday. He ordered xrays for Monday morning. He wanted me to go Friday morning and I just couldn't drive that far again so the soonest I could get them done is Monday closer to home. I think it is a blockage and I've took milk of mag, gasx and he prescribed MiraLax. I went to work tonight and couldn't stand it and had to come home. I can't get comfortable sitting, standing or laying. Has anyone experienced this if so what can I do?

Hey Vickie, To be honest, I wouldnt wait. I would go to the ER. Why suffer all weekend if you dont have to. Plus, if it is something its better to get it looked at earlier verses later. So call up a friend or a loved one and go get looked at. Wishing you the best. With love, Em

Vickie, Funny that you mention it, but I also experience pain on my left side. It starts under my rib cage and wraps around. My doc said it could be heartburn. Although it only flares up when I drive or sit for a long time, so I think it's a muscular thing. Hope this helps. Maybe you and I are experiencing the same thing??? If it's too horrible, I would call my doc and go to the ER. Feel Better! Katie
