Cal Fat Carb Protein Water
hi katie,
has anyone answered you? i am fresh off my 3 month checkup so i am looking at your numbers with my surgeon's/nutritionist's appt in my head.
first, i think your water and protein intake are outstanding.
according to my plan, you are right where i want to be calorie-wise, 700 - 900. so i don't think these are too few.
the only question i have is about your carbs - i don't know these numbers at all. i have read on the boards that some people shoot for lower numbers. i didn't ask my team that. what do you think?

Hey Katie,
It looks like your doing beautifully!! I dont think your carbs are too high, but what do I know? I just think about it this way, pre-op I got in a few hundread carbs a day. Anything under 90-100g of carbs is by definition "low carb". (Im not saying try for 80g of carbs a day but if your around 40 or so then I think your okay, as long as your protein out numbers the carbs. Congrats on your weight loss!!!
With love,
Em

Thanks Em! I hope I'm on track. I'm just feel that I was losing great the first month or so - WHAM, dropped off, then slowed so much. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I started as a 'heavy weight' - almost 400 lbs, and most people that I've seen at that weight lose very quickly the 1st few months. But, I am glad of what I've done so far!
