The hardest thing to do!!!!

Real Quick, I'm just curious. Out of all the do's and don'ts that our surgeons gave to us. What is the hardest to obey. How many break these rules? Be honest. The water rule is the hardest for me. I hate the fact that I have to plan my water around eating or vice-versa, but I don't want to sabatoge my surgery so I am trying my best. Honesty is the key.....Join in and leave a comment. Hi, I am up looking at this board because I am sipping on Crystal Light. I think I'll have a cup of tea next. I still have 8oz. to go before I go to bed. It seems like I am still either trying to get enough protein or liquid!!! I am happy to be losing though and that keeps me excited. Susan

Hi, My surgery date was Sept.23,2004. I started at 247.5 and today I was 197.5, so 50 lbs. lost as of today. I am so excited to be under 200. I think 1980 was the last time I weighed under 200. It has always been a mental block to me with each diet I was on. I feel good this time. I am determined not to gain it back. I have to go get that tea now and start drinking again. I do not understand "Agape" in your signature. I have only heard that word when it has referred to the small meal at Easter time after the midnight mass. I am not very up on the latest things!!! Please tell me about it. Susan

Wow!! You ARE cookin' on the weight loss. I had my surgery on 27 Sept. and I have only lost about 45lbs.....Well, in comparison to you, I say only. LOL I can't wait to get up under 200. It's been a while since I've had the 1 to lead off my body weight. Agape means unconditional love in the context that I use it in. It means that there is absolutely nothing that you can do to lose my love and nothing you can do to get it. It is an in spite of.....type of love. Pretty much the way God loves us. Agape: Andrea J. Holle again, That is a beautiful meaning you have for agape. Thanks for sharing it with me. I changed my mind in the kitchen and am drinking Swanson's chicken broth. It sounded so soothing to me and tastes good too. You asked about hard things to do. The protein powder is hard for me. I am out of the protein powder I bought from ny surgeons office. I need to send for the samples I have heard other people talk about. Somewhere on this board I have heard of a place to buy samples for $1.50 to try. I don't want to pay $20.00 and then feel I have to drink something I can't stand. Keep sipping, Susan

Hi, I just looked up your profile and was surprised to see you are a patient of Dr.Ali also. I knew your face looked familiar and I must have seen you on his web site. You as so beautiful. I need to get busy and put my picture on this message board. I had one taken on my digital camera, but I need to get my son to help me post it. I am not too good with computer things. I was sorry to hear that your follow up visit was so disappointing. I did not stay for one. My husband and I came home to northern Ca. the day I left the hospital. I have been thinking I should go back down at some point for a visit, but I don't want to go all that way for nothing. You said that you live three hours away. Are you in northern Ca. or southern Ca.? Well, my chicken broth is almost gone. I need to get to bed. I have enjoyed talking to you tonight. Hope to talk to you again soon. Hey Susan, It's been great talking to you too. We live in So. Cali. Yeah my appointment was really a bummer. I am still in search of a really good Doc here that can help me.
