What exercise did you do today?

I subscribe to the notion that to succeed long term at weight loss that I need to replace my old eating habits with exercise habits. Today I swam laps in the morning, walked for an hour at noon, and tonight I will ride my stationary bike for twenty minutes before I work out with weights. Yes, I am being a little fanatical, but I am extremely motivated right now because the pounds that come off now are gone forever! What is everyone else doing?

Greg, I'm tired just thinking about your schedule...but you are my HERO! Bet you weren't swimming in the back yard pool today in Michigan. My DH and I will be in Ann Arbor next week, so please no show or sleet, pleeeeease, and could you get it to about 70*? I had to buy a winter coat for the trip...we only come up in August any more...but I MUST SEE THOSE GRAND KIDS...will they recoginze me? Will little Sarah still say Grandma, I love your squshie arms? Love your posts, and loved your newspaper article...best regards Rosey in Fla.

Your weather forcast is for above freezing temperatures all week! That was the best I could do! My two daughters and I are going to go to Fort Myers and then to the Florida Keys the last week of February so please start working on good weather for then. No hurricanes, please!

I am with you on the Exercise kick Today Sunday is my day off from the gym. Yesterday was a light for me. I walked a mile then worked out upper body on the Cybex machines at the Y. Friday was 1/2 mile jogging 1 1/2 miles walking, then 45 minute Deep Water Aerobics. 6 days a week no less than 1 hour of exercise. I have muscles that are sore right now that I didn't know I had....lol Dennis

Sounds like you are doing what I am - all you can. We have to be careful not to get burnt out with the exercising, but as long as we are still losing weight and have an exercise maintenance plan when we reach goal we should be alright. Jogging? I havn't tried that in 15+ years - will try it when I am closer to goal. Everybody keep up the good work!
