update - on "having a rough time"
Well, I went to see the Rheumatologist this afternoon. It was a heck of a day. First, my car wouldn't start - dead battery. Then, my daughter and I were almost in a multi-car pile up on the interstate! A truck swerved in front of me. I nearly hit it. . making me slam on my breaks. Well, the SUV behind me had to hit its breaks. . and the car behind it rear ended it and sent the SUV almost into ME! We're talking inches here! I was freaking out!
Anyway, we made it to the rheumatologist's office. Dr R said that he does believe I have "mild" lupus. Now, my biggest question is "WHAT in the WORLD is so "mild" about the way I feel?!"
I am miserable! And he says it's probably "mild" lupus!
I guess when you feel so badly, you want some kind of validation to explain your symptoms. I probably would have felt better had he said "Yes, You are very sick!" LOL Not that I want to be very sick. . but I already feel that way.
Anyway, thanks for all your support and well wishes. They are greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I'm so sorry to hear you had such a bad day. That driving situation sounds scary. I can not remember from your other post if you said you have arthritis. I know first hand how uncomfortable that is. There are several medications to help with that. I also thought you might have mentioned Fibro myalgia(spelling?), another problem I have. My doctor prescribed doxepin at night to help me relax my muscles to sleep. Lack of sleep can just mess up everything.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Susan
