How many calories are most of you eating now? I have been eating between 600 and 700, but my nutritionist suggested that I increase to 800. She thinks that may speed up my weight loss.

A great way to track calories and anything else (like protein) is to use www.fitday.com . It lets you adjust the servigs to track everything, and it's free!

Dolores, Protein shakes & protein bars are an excellent way to get the cals you want with the protein your body needs. If you can tollerate milk, terrific! I couldn't tollerate cold milk....but Starbucks decaf latte's made with skim milk and SF vanilla is about 200 cals and 18 g of protein for their 20 oz size. It would get expensive everyday, but definately a yummy alternative with all the nutritional values I was looking for. I had 2 oz of lean grilled pork chop for dinner last night. It was 118 cals and 16 g of protein. So far, it was the most on both accounts for any meat I've been allowed to have. I also track everything through Http://www.fitday.com. Even my Dr. Appts...that way I can look them up at work or home. Thanks to it, I also know I need to loose about 3 lbs a week to make goal in a year. Sherri
