I refuse to step on the scale. As you can see, it causes a lot of un- needed stress.
Before WLS when I dieted, the scale could send me into a depression in 2 seconds because it didnt move down or up as it was in many cases.
So...I refuse to let the scale determine what my general mood will be for a particular day.
I like measuring my sucess through other things like how I feel, and how loose my clothes are getting.
As long as I eat healthy, I know Im on the right track, I'll save the weigh ins for the doctors office.
Good luck
HI MAnda. Dont worry it will start melting! at least thats what Im told too!!!! I am 9 weeks out and I have as of today only lost 37lbs. I know its good and I am grateful but I feel like everyone loses faster than I do.
I know your frustrated but look how much you have lost so far. You are doing great.

My advice is put the scale and the tape away. Worry about it at your doctor's appointments. I won't even buy a scale, it's just stressful and that can hurt you as well. You lost quick to begin with, that tend to lead to little plateaus. You will get past it. Try not to look and just keep up the protein and water and excercise. As long as you're following the program, you will succeed.
