I dont feel full or hungry is this normal
I had RNY surgery Nov. 2, I don't feel hungry but a little, but I don't feel full when I eat, at least not the way I used to feel full. I am almost a Month out and have lost 28lbs. I am not walking, at least not the last 2 weeks, it kills my ankle. I get most of my protein & water in.
I am on the Pureed stage, ( I do pretty good most of the time)
But I havent eaten any sugar. But I think my pouch is bigger or I stretched it. I dont hurt when I eat. I seem to eat more than 2 or 3 ounces. Is this normal?
I had RNY on 9/7/04 and I am STILL not hungry. I don't feel full like I used to but when I have pressure on my breastbone I can tell I'm full. Next time you eat, slow down or stop when you feel pressure in the center of your chest. I think you are completely normal from what you described. I felt the same way at your stage. It is still a learning experience for me. Good luck!
Hey Kerri,
Your nerves are probably still pretty numb. In another few weeks you will start to notice a definate full sensation. A word of warning, it only took me once to find out that when your nerves regain there feeling dont eat til your full! Eat until your satisfied. I ate until I was full and it felt like I had just eaten an entire pizza, big mac, super sized frie, and monsterous slice of cake. Not a good feeling!
With love,
Em
PS dont you worry, your pouch is just fine!
