when you're on the run what food is fun?
Hello SeptemberPeople,
Just came back from a semi long day of shopping and every place I thought of to stop for food just wouldn't work.
I'm in a city (no car so I walk) but I think we all have the same sort of question-- if you're only eating 2-3 oz and only certain foods work-- where can you stop to get something before you wait too long?
On the lighter (pun intended) side-- 51 lbs gone the day after Thanksgiving!
The best part of the meal was that I cut my turkey up first and by the time I'd had what my pouch said was enough everyone else was just finishing too!
First let me congratulate you on your fantastic weight loss! Keep up the good work. When I travel I usually bring with me cheese or peanut butter crackers, slim jims, or string cheese. If I wind up going thru a fast food (which is rare for me as I am not a fast food person) I have gotten Wendy's chicken nuggets and eat only 2. I know they have breading on them but sometimes you just can't help it. That is why I only eat 2 which fills me up. The rest go to my cat when I get home. Good luck on your continued success!

Congratulation!! You are doing great. I also keep peanut butter and crackers in purse and I also keep the small crystal light pkg as I do not like water. I sometimes take a tiny cooler with propel. Will try protein bars as weather is cooler and they should not melt. Keep the ideas coming Hugs DOlores
If you have a Jack in the Box restaurant in your area, the inside of the chicken fajita pita is awesome! For fast food, that is pretty much all I do, oh and a chicken thigh from El Pollo Loco is great too. Otherwise, I carry or buy a protein bar, beef jerky, or string cheese. Since surgery, I eat at home much more, I rarely get fast food.
