It's official
I have finally joined a gym. WOO HOO
I just got back from signing up. So for the next 6 months I will be trying to get in as much toning and sculpting as I possibly can. I am so proud of myself. I will start tomorrow. I got a few outfits to get started in. I also got a bathing suit for the water aerobics but I am not sure when I will do that. I am ok with my legs and all but my arms aren't exactly what I would call pretty.

Shannon, most of the water arobic classes I have seen contain bodies that make me feel ok about being there and I used to be over 450 @ one time. I lost 50 on my own (which seems to be all I ever lost on my own) and 50 since surgery. I have enough spare skin right now for an eight year old. And to me they are fun, because I can do more than I can on lnad
Either way, congradulations
Congrats Shannon!
I made the same leap about 3 wks ago
It is a very cool thing! I haven't tried the water aerobics yet, but would love to one day soon. Our gym's pool is outdoors, and even though it's heated, the air is kinda chilly lately around here! Let me know if you learn any handy workout tips at your gym!

In the past I was a member of this same gym and I enjoyed the water aerobics then. I have gained more weight but I actually think I weigh less now then I did when I first started the last time. I just hate having to always wear a shirt over my bathing suit. I can't wait for the day when I feel good enough to just wear a bathing suit and nothing over it.
I started off weighing 363. I lost 21 pounds which brought me down to 342. I just weighed myself 5 minutes ago and the scale reads 264. So total I am down 99 pounds. Seems like I have been in the 90's forever. I can't wait for the 100's. I am getting excited because 250 is my first MAJOR weight loss goal. I wanted to get there and then I figured I would start deducting weight with each 10 pound loss. I try not to over guess because if I don't reach my mini goals I will lose confidence in myself.
