tuna recipe
hi everyone,
people have been writing what they've been eating. i have alot of problems with chicken, too. it's only been in the last 2 weeks that i've had to get rid of my food by coughing it up (that's a delicate way of saying you-know-what!).
anyway - i found that tuna fish is really easy for me to eat so i thought i'd share how i enjoy it.
i use a food processer - this is for 2 cans
i process about 1/2 red onion until it's finely chopped
add my tuna, drained
add at least 2 T. of Mt Olive Sugarfree Relish (I LOVE relish & pickles - i found this brand that makes sugarfree sweet pickles & relish)
add about 2 T. of Hellman's
then i process it on "pulse".
what i like about it is that the texture is whipped so it's light, not too chunky. it's very moist - easy to get down. and it's sweet, which i love.
plus - very high in protein (on fitday, if i did it right, 3 oz is 14 grams of protein)
