Hey there! I had my surgery on 9/20 and I can eat just about anything. I have lost 32lbs since the last time I weighed in. I am having a hard time getting in all my protein and water but I am fairly close I think. I feel better than ever and I feel blessed that so far I have not had any troubles. The only thing I miss is drinking while eating (I never thought that would be so hard for me). ~Lisa~

Hello surgery buddy! I can eat just about anything. . except sweets. I am still fighting head hunger. There are times where I regret my decision and think I'd just like to have a "normal" meal. . meaning LOTS of food. But then I remind myself that I just have to rethink what "normal" is! now, normal is 3 ounces. BTW, I hit my 40 lb lost mark today! WOOHOO!

Hello 9/14 peeps.... I am not as blessed as some... but lord knows I try. I can do chicken, chili, chops, nuts, sf popsicles...(PET is the best I've found so far) CarbCountdown milk, cheese, some taters. My pouch has spells of irritability and I have to back down to soft and clears. I have lost 35 so far. Hit a major bump in the road last week... MAJOR head hunger and grieving for a normal meal and my "best friend" I wanted food and lots of it and couldn't do it. I cried for 4 days. Hopefully that is over with. Still trying to get motivated to exercise daily. Getting in all of my protein ... more than 70 grms a day and almost all of my liquids. Still having trouble getting in all my pills.. YUCK! But working at it daily!

Hello fellow Club 9/14 members, I can eat chicken salad, eggs, nuts, potatoes, soups, chicken stew, shrimp, some fruits, grits, bacon, scrambled salmon and eggs, tuna salad, tuna scrambled with eggs, some salad, egg salad, chilli, deli roast beef, pork rinds but only 2 or 3 at a time, and deli turkey. I think that's it. I have lost 50 lbs as of 11/10. Still having trouble getting in all my water but I'm trying. I am taking my vitamins in liquid, sublingual or logenzes form the chewable made me sick. I take Liquid Centrum, Biotin, B12 and Calcium. I don't mind the amount of food I can eat but I wish I could eat some of my favorites even if it's only a couple of spoonfulls. For instance, Kellog's Corn Fakes, French toast, a bologna sandwich. I even miss vegetables since I am concentrating on my protein mostly, go figure. Be blessed, Lisa G

I had my surgery on 9/14/04, doing great. I have lost 40 lbs. and can eat a wide variety of foods. No sugar, and low fat of course. I haven't tried any alcoholic beverages as yet, a little scared to try, maybe at Thanksgiving. I take all my vitamins, a little shy of consuming all the water in a day, but no hair loss. I don't think I make all my protein, but pretty close. I just keep trying. My attitude is great, I am feeling great, and everyone tells me I am looking skinney, I love it!!
