What about Chinese Food???
I haven't tried it yet, but I am thinking about it. We have a place here in town that does Mongolian BBQ that I really liked pro-op. It is mostly veggies and really thinly sliced meat, so I am thinking about trying that soon. I just hate to pay full-price when I know that I will only be able to eat a tiny little bit. I too am 6 weeks out and have lost 46 lbs. so far!

I had chinese yesterday and about 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I got a pint of chicken and cashews, of course I did not eat the rice. I ate it for almost three meals. Three weeks ago I got chicken and vegetables with sauce on the side. I at that for a whole bunch of meals. It all went down fine and have had no problems with it. I did Chinese buffet last week. And, although I really had to struggle - it was good. I wanted Sweet and Sour sauce SO bad, and Sesame Chicken... but didn't want to dump for the 1st time!
I had a little cup of Egg Drop soup, a few pieces of beef/broccoli, a little piece of spicy chicken, and a few pieces of lo-main noodles. I was full.

I would hold off. Ive tried it twice and didnt do well either time. The first time I got the chinese veggie soup, way to much sodium, i felt bloated for days! Next I tried some chicken and brocolli and the MSG really got to me. Plus the chicken was dry so I was in pain all afternoon.

I went Chinese two days ago...had a horrible night. No MSG, but the sauces were very rich. Moogoo Gai pan, because I thought the veggies would be good for me. Grilled shrimp, but I could only eat two of them, then I had to hug the white wishing well.
Oddly enough, I could eat them the next day, but I wiped off the sauce from the veggies as much as I could.
Will try again in a month or so.
