hi all, i've been feeling a little low that i haven't been losing at the rate that some of you have. also, i haven't changed sizes at all. the week of surgery i started at around 323 - now i'm 288, so it's 35 #'s but i can still wear all my old clothes. no difference in bra size, the same pants. i gave away most of my clothes because i thought i'd lose faster. down to a few measly pants. i do see that my pants are pretty baggy in the hip, crotch and thigh but fit just fine in the waist. the elastic helps that, i guess. the most important fact to me is that i haven't been below 290 since 1984! i yoyo'd in the late '70's and early 80's, then steadily increased. went from around 250 in 1983 to a high of 336 by 1985. then generally settled around 320's. that's where i was 20 years later when i had surgery. so that, for me, is a star accomplishment. just need to keep remembering that! susan

CONGRATULATIONS! I know it's hard that some lose faster than others. I feel that way too. I seem to be somewhere in the middle as far as "losing pace" is concerned. I wish I was one of the faster losers. . but oh, well. At least I'm losing, and that is what counts. And congrats on your milestone! My milestone is getting down to 200 lbs. . 26 lbs away! And then I am going to treat myself for a day at the beauty shop!

Hi Susan! Congratulations on your weight loss! I'm right there with you as far as the pants go. I've noticed that my pants feel bigger everywhere except the waist. I think that my stomach is still swollen from surgery and I can't wait for it to shrink! It'll happen, we just need to have patience....yeah right! Julia

Wow, that is pretty amazing. I have to say. Most the of clothing I hvae fits on the waist (elastic band) but everywhere else is baggy beyond belief. I sometimes look at myself and feel that I look good but most of the time I look in the mirror and still see some of the same person I was 2 months ago. Shannon
