Hello September People, Well, my friend made the mistake of using my scale and it dawned on me how important I find the fact that the scale ****il someone else steps on it! tells you what you weighed last and then today. Also two posters just today mentioned a free offer of a weight chart and that FitDay can project your loss based on your current loss. (oh goody). So, how do you keep from eating your "heart" out ( not good for the pouch?) about how much you are losing and how much they are losing? Thanks !

My scale hasnt moved at all, its broken. I actually dont mind, I want to measure my success on how I feel (my confidence) and how loose my clothes are getting. I've been dragged down too much in my life, Im not going to let a scale bring me down more. Its a great great feeling and a major sense of accomplishment when I try on clothes that didnt fit before and they do now. If I would weigh myself and find I only lost a pound I would sink back into low self esteem mode, I dont need it and I dont want it. Good luck! Hmmm, I just got an idea...I think someone should organize a scale burning...like they did when they burned bras in the 60's hehe.

hi ruth, this is so much of what i've been feeling on the board! i am losing at a slower rate and sometimes feel badly when i read about other faster losses and people being in new sizes, etc. in fact, i haven't posted recently because of it. it's such an in-the-moment process sometimes. just staying in the day with protein, movemen****er, etc - all the things we know and letting the body do it's thing. so, we should just keep on doing our thing and knowing that we couldn't have done this without the surgery and our bodies are adjusting as best as they can! i'm glad you wrote this. susan
