How long did it take you for you to feel feelings of hunger? If you have started yet..and if not did you doctor tell you how long it would take?

Hi! My doc says that some never feel hungry again :| I felt my first distinct hunger around 4 to 5 weeks. I get hungry 3-4 times a day. 2-3 oz fills me up and I feel full! Everyone's different! Nancy

OMG thank you so much Nancy, I go through times of thinking that I'm the only one this won't work for and all the other insane little things people put in their heads. I've lost 36lbs so far.....and the other thing that makes me worry is that bread and pasta are in my booklet for things to follow / but they are my trigger foods. Thank God for this board, I'm going to tell my personal dietician today that I need replacements for bread and pasta in my booklet b/c I'm not jeapordizing my success by having my trigger foods on there all the time. Thanx for responding.....I am noticing now that I occasionally feel a little peckish and I haven't felt that in so long that I was hoping I didn't do anything wrong.

I was just talking to a lady who used thinly sliced and steamed cabbage instead of noodles. I am still on a fluid diet, but DANG that sounds good to me! I thought that breads and pasta a big nonos -- hmmm. You do what is right for you - better not to indulge a trigger for the sake extra carbs in your diet. Take care! Nan

I am 7 weeks out and still have no sensation of hunger. I also don't ever "want" to eat. It takes so long to eat such a small amount its just a PITA. I have to constantly remind myself to eat and force myself to get it all down. Hopefully this will change because getting in that protien at this rate is hard!
