I hope you get some good replies! I am eight weeks out too and again, my weight has stalled. One day I got on the scales and had lost 54 pounds, two days later had gained four and have been stuck there for TWO WEEKS! I am really worried! I AM getting in all my water and protein and exercising even more but I am STUCK! My fiance says I am obsessive about putting everything I eat in Fitday but I am just so worried that I am stuck here forever. I cannot help you with your question but I can sympathize and know exactly what you are feeling!

It looks like alot of us are having the same problems--I try not to weigh myself until i go to the doctor, because its easier to become preoccupied with the weight loss. Remember to do everything your doctors says, and focus on the way your clothes fit instead.

I had the same experience. My doctor told me not to panic. Everything is working like it should but after losing so fast in the beginning it takes your body time to get adjusted. He was right. I stalled for about two weeks then dropped 5 lbs overnight so it will come off, just be patient.

I just got out of a 12 day stall last friday and I was really worried. I found that my hips were really hurting. I was told that my weight needs time to shift so that I am carrying it properly and that is why I was getting aches and pains and I was in a stall. My hips feel better and I'm back to losing. I still recommend measuring yourself once a week, as that will show you that you are losing inches. It does make me feel better. I measure: neck, bust, waist, hips, upper arm, lower arm, wrist, upper thigh, knee, calf, and ankle Kell

I was just going through old posts and your caught my eye! I think you are doing wonderful! Try carrying around a 45 pound child all day and see how much lighter you feel! I am 8 weeks out too, and have lost about 40 pounds so far. I know I feel great, and am able to wear clothes I haven't worn in years! I think too many people get caught up in the numbers, and not what our bodies are telling us! You rock by getting in 1-3 miles a day of walking! Keep up the good work!!! Tonya
