Munching On A Protein Bar

Hi, I'm trying out bars this week, and I have to say the tastes are definitely surprising! The snickers protein bar is well, hard to believe. It tastes like candy to me, so I don't think I'll be doing that one alot. Right now, I'm eating a Carb Select Protein Plus bar. It has 30g of carbs and 22 g of Protein,with 1g of sugar. I don't know but are the 30 g of carbs okay? Could I go less? Also, this is a pretty big bar. I could munch on it all day as an in between meal snack. How are you out there handling the bars? How much do you eat a day? Johanna

I had an Atkins (peanutbutter chocolate) for a meal. I think you have to read the labels closely and make sure it fits in your meal plan. They are a convenient way to get a meal on the run. The Atkins had three net carbs. 30 carbs sounds like a lot.

My dietician recommended the QSmart Cranberry almond bar and I love it. I eat half of one for a snack and it is yummy. It has a lot of soy protein. Kell
