HAVEN'T POSTED HERE IN A WHILE..BEEN ON TEXAS BOARDS...MISS YOU GUYS

HELLO AGAIN, HERE'S AN UPDATE......I AM 4 WEEKS AND 4 DAYS OUT I HAVE LOST 30 LBS SO FAR (WHICH SEEMS LIKE NOT ENOUGH) I HAVE BEEN DOING PRETTY GOOD SO FAR...I HAD A COUPLE OF CHEST PAIN EPISODES (PROBALLY NOT CHEWING ENOUGH ) AND BOY DOES THAT HURT I AM IN A STALL RIGHT NOW, HAVEN'T LOST ANYTHING IN ABOUT 5 DAYS I HAD REALLY BAD BACK PAIN THE LAST 5 DAYS AS WELL...CALLED THE DOC AND HE SAID ITS PROBALLY MY KIDNEYS AND PUT ME ON A PAIN MED AND ANTIBIOTIC BUT IT REALLY IS HELPING! I HAVE MY NEXT DOCTORS APPT ON THE 26TH...HOPEFULLY I CAN GET ALL MY QUESTIONS ANSWERED THEN. I WENT TO MY FIRST SUPPORT MEETING TODAY AT STARBUCKS ON HULEN...IT WAS REALLY GREAT! JUST WANTED TO SAY I AM SOOOO PROUD OF ALL OF YOU AND YOU SUCCESS! WE ALL ARE SOO LUCKY TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TAKE THIS JOURNEY. I DON'T REALLY SEE MUCH DIFFERENCE WHEN I LOOK IN THE MIRROR BUT I KNOW THAT IT WILL COME SOON! EVERYONE TAKE CARE AND LET ME KNOW HOW THINGS GO ON THE REST OF YOUR JOURNEY! Hey Rebecca, I really don't see much of a difference except in my face. It is going to take some time for our brains to catch up to the changes. Sounds like your going through all the normal stuff. Stall's suck but they will go away and you will be losing again before you know it. I enjoy my support meetings. When I first went I was the only pre-op person there so I felt a little out of sorts. Now I am post op and there are like 8 pre-ops. It is nice to be on the losing side and be able to lend my experiences to newbies. Makes me feel uesful. Your well on your way to reaching your goals.
