Bones...

Has this been happening to you guys? Lately, almost every time I am just stretching, or lathering up, or thinking about something else, I discover new bones coming out of hiding. Or, maybe I should say, less cushioned bones! My jawline, my fingers, my hips and of all places, my elbows, are where I'm noticing it most. Anyone else taking delight in these little moments that are proof how we are changing?? ~Sue

Absolutely Sue, Even though I'm also noticing more "skin", I do notice that I have wrists (my watch isn't tight on me anymore), and my knees and ankles have more definition as well. My face is totally slimmer now, and well, I'm starting to look at shirts that were one time at the back of my closet! Johanna

I'm noticing more skin on my face, Johanna, a little more sag in the expression lines, but I knew it would happen. It's ok. And I'm digging out the clothes from the back of my closet too! Congrats on your newly discovered bones and on looking and feeling better already! ~Sue

Here too, I had to pad my mattress a little more... my hip bones hurt layin on my side now... my watch and rings float on fingers and wrist, the fat pad on top of my foot is just about gone, I really feel my knees when I'm sleeping too... have to cushion them. The folks at work say they can see the jaw line coming out of hiding but I can't see it yet. The best part... my pants are baggy and my undies are riding a little higher than before!!! (hehehe)

Wanda, I'm excited for the changes we are all experiencing! It's so cool to have this forum to share with others going through this same journey at the same time... re: the undies... my horribly tight ones pre-op are now FITTING! I remember I would avoid wearing these and dig for the huge ones in my drawer. I no longer worry about that. Can't wait till they're all too big for me. Congrats on the progress! ~Sue

I know exactly what you mean about the pre-op panties. I pulled some pre-op bloomies out the other night while getting ready for work... I told my "children" "OK guys... cross your paws, moma's got some new drawers to try on" Lots of tails wagging when they FIT ... including mine!!!!!

YAY Leslie! It feels so good to lose weight in the face, because that is the one part we have to look at when brushing our teeth, putting on makeup, whatever. I am getting the most comments about my face looking slimmer. I'm so happy for you too! ~Sue
