When can we sleep on our tummies again. I saw my surgeon today but I completely forget to ask him.

I too am a stomach sleeper, I couldnt stand the recliner anymore, so I tried it at about 4-5 weeks out, at first it was a little uncomfortable, a little sore (I didnt have open) and a little scared that I would crush or move something out of place. Now, its much better, when I wake up I have a tiny little tight feeling in my middle area, thats about it. Good luck!

I am four weeks out. I have been sleeping on my stomach for about a week and a half and I don't have any discomfort

Hi, Had my surgery the same day, and I've been sleeping on my tummy for about two weeks now, though I feel more comfortable on my side. Probably because I can say I have a side now!LOL Johanna

My husband is a stomach sleeper. He started as soon as the stamples were out. October 4th.. about 13 - 14 days out.

I was 3 weeks post when I started sleeping on tummy again. I too was a little afraid at first thinking I might rupture something but it was all good. I think it was more of an accident that I started though went to sleep on my back and woke up on my tummy. Kinda felt nice to have that little bit of normalcy back.
