Has anyone had difficulty have any aftertaste with Splenda. I have been trying to use Splenda regularly, but whenever I there is an aftertaste and it ruins everything else that I try to consume. I am 4 weeks out and this is becoming annoying. Any words of wisdom?

HI DAWN!!!! I HAVE BECOME VERY SENSITIVE TO SPLENDA ALSO,I MEAN SO MANY PEOPLE SWEAR BY IT,THAT IT TASTE SO GOOD, BUT I REALLY CANT STAND THE AFTERTASTE OF IT.I HAVE BEEN STRUGLING WITH THE AFTERTASTE THING SENCE I WAS 3 WEEKS OUT,AND I AM NOW 6 PLUS WEEKS OUT AND STILL HAVING A HARD TIME WITH IT,BUT I AM STARTING TO GET A LITTLE BETTER WITH IT NOW,BUT WHAT I DID WAS GET LIKE APPLE JUICE,CRANBERRY,AND ORANGE JUICE AND I JUS****ERED THEM DOWN,AND THATS WHAT I DRANK WHEN I WANTED SOMETHING MORE THAN WATER,BECAUSE I JUST COULD NOT HANDLE THE AFTERTASTE OF ANY KIND OF ARTIFICIAL(sp) SWEETNER,I JUST THINK RIGHT NOW YOUR TASTEBUDS JUST NEED A BREAK FROM THAT KIND OF STUFF,YOU WILL LEARN TO ENJOY THAT STUFF AGAIN,BUT YOU JUST NEED A BREAK FROM IT RIGHT NOW. GOD LUCK EBONY

Same here! I have eaten splenda on a small amount of corn flakes. . . but I can't stand it in tea. I use sweet n low.

Have you tried the sugar substitute from www.Bariatriceating.com ? O find it much better, and it bakes like real sugar. I got it to make cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving, and find I am using it in lots of things. Sort of expensive, but worth it. (No relationship with that site, just a happy customer.)
