home gym equipment
Thanks Amanda, I went to the web site and snooped around abit. i was also wondering about that new ab lounger thingy. I have neck trouble and doing traditional abdominal exercises can cause significant pain and major trouble... May I ask what package you got with your gazelle? Was it the high end product, medium or low end. I can't see paying $400 plus just for a few extra bells and whistles... but that's just me. Anyway, thanks again. How are things in NC today? Wet and rainy and cool here... where is Jacksonville? Have never heard of it in NC before...
My husband and I put together a little home gym that gets used EVERY night by the the both of us. It has a treadmill, Gazelle, Elliptical and Bowflex and inversion table. We use EVERYTHING...and I love my Gazelle (you can buy them at Wallyworld and save some bucks but check the weight limit requirements of each model as they are different).
I also ordered one of the ab lounger's as I have a friend that has one and they swear by them. A word of advice... go to walgreens.com and order it from there (again check the weight limits...I believe the AB lounger 2 limits weight to 250lbs.). Walgreens has it for the cheapest and FREE SHIPPING! Total cost was only the $99.99 plus tax!... also they will get it to you faster as everywhere else I checked (trust me I searched the entire web including ebay) had back orders of weeks... unless you wanted to get it right now and pay through the nose at ebay ..walgreens is the way to go.... I can't wait to get it!
When I do my workouts I bust it bigtime on my treadmill which is very hard for me to do as I have a bad bad knee.... for 25 mins. I am walking so fast that it could easily be a good jog... and I don't stop for anything... I get in well over a mile...sometimes close to a mile and a half in that time frame... then I ice my knee down for a few minutes and get on the Gazelle.... I have noticed inches being lost even when I have been at a standstill with the scale...
HOPE THIS HELPS!
Elizabeth~
