Pretzel Nuggets

Hi Everyone Today my daughter was munching on pretzel nuggets and I have had such a craving for them that today I gave in and had about 10 of them. They were 0 fat and less than 1 gram sugar. I sucked on them before I chewed to make sure they softened up. Mmmmm they tasted sooooo good. Now that I have gotten them out of my system, could I have damaged or stretched my pouch since I am only up to pureed foods? I handled them ok and held them down. I know we have to watch our carbs and I follow my instructions to the letter by not eating more than 4 oz at a meal, making sure I get in my protein and water. Anyone else ever give into a craving only to regret it later on? Marianne

Yep! It was Hawaiian chicken and I puked it all up. Not a pleasant experience. I do have a funny story to share, though, about those darn pretzen nuggets. Several months ago, I had my 3 year old at the mall. We stopped by the Pretzel shop and ordered some pretzel nuggets with cheese. My daughter ate about ten of them. . obviously savouring every ounce. Then, she looks up at me and says "Mommy, these are the BEST donuts I have ever had!!!" LOL LOL LOL she didn't even realize they were pretzels. . she thought they were donuts!

WEre they the hard ones or the ones from the pretzle shop?? Either way they sound scumptious. I haven't had the nerve to give into my cravings yet... I am dying for a pb and j sandwich... I want to bite into that whole strawberry and feel the pop!!! Hmm Hmm Good!!! Too afraid of nausea to give in though...

Hello Marianne Just thought I would tell you I am still on pureed and soft solids. I tried a pretzel yesterday and did ok with it. I also have had a piece of toast with peanut butter on it and did great. Just remember to chew very good and eat very slow. No I don't think you have damaged your pouch as long as you are sticking to your numbers. Good Luck Peggy
