My periods have been screwy since my surgery as well. It sucks.
Also, I had a dream (pre-op) that I was about to be wheeled into surgery when the dr comes in and says "you can't have surgery. You're pregnant." Well, I was FREAKING out! Then, this woman on the Oklahoma board posted the SAME thing I dreamed happened to her. Her IV was already started and she was about to be taken back to the O.R. when the doctor told her that she was pregnant.
Weird, huh?
Manda-
My absolute worst fear was that I would get pregnant before surgery!!
Don't feel bad though, my periods have been weird too since surgery, but interestingly less painful. I guess that's good. Do we really not lose when we are on them? I guess that makes sense though. Hmmph?!
Also, whatever medicines you are could be causing weird dreams. I know when I was on painkillers I had horrible dreams. These days I take pepcid and reglan--no wierd dreams--I just get dizzy sometimes.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!

Amanda,
You are not alone. I have been getting mine every 2 weeks. And not only that but they are lasting the whole 2 weeks each time. I don't know what it is from and why. I never took depo. Actually I have never taken any kind of birthcontrol. I have hormone pills that my gyno perscribed to me but I haven't started them yet. I wanted to wait until I was healed totally before I started them. I go on 2 weeks and take 2 weeks off and so on and so on. Eventually it is suppose to straighten them out though. Maybe you could give your a gyno a call to see what he/she suggests.
