My dietician preaches Tums. She says Viactive may taste better but it is loaded with sugar and that is bad for us.

Hi Cindy! I buy all my vitamins from Vitalady. She had a distal RNY 10 years ago and was taking the wrong calcium and ended up with osteoporosis. She's a great educator when it comes to nutrition for RNY patients. I'm lucky in that she lives just a few miles from me and I can attend her support group meetings. She's available online at www.vitalady.com where there's all sorts of information about vitamins and protein. Hope that helps! Julia

I take OPTISOURCE A chewable vitamin formulated for use after bariatric surgery it contains all the vitamins and nutrients needed including calcium and iron. They taste much better than Tums and Flintstones. They disolve in our mouth as you chew them. Now if they could only make protein drinks as good.
