Frustration changed to ..................SMILES! :)

Just got back from the Dr. for my 3 week post op checkup. I am so excited because my total weight loss is now 27 lbs gone------> FOREVER! So, I guess that the scale was moving but I just couldn't see it........Moral of this lesson? Don't get on the scale until you go to the Dr's office and the weight loss is official! Hi Ebony! I think (as sad as this is) DUH that you and I sat next to eachother at our last appt. I have a horrible memory! How are you doing on your diet! I am eating soft foods and I have as of Friday lost 21lbs total. How much did you lose? What are you eating and how much! I will not be able to be atthe poat op meeting as I have already had enough for today. I went back to work today and I am WHOOPED. Have a great dayand I hope you enjoythe meeting. Love Amybee

Amen to that one. I was obsessing a little, now that I know I am in the 200's I am satisfied and try not to look daily. WTG on the 27 pounds gone forever...... Shannon

I went for my 1st post op appt on 10-6 (surgery was 9-20) I was a little sad cause only lost 10 lbs. Can anyone help??

Vera, Could be water gain from all the IV fluid. That happened to me as well and then all of a sudden, the scale tipped! Terri
