Two Questions
Sue,
I am just noticing a decreased frequency. My doc says he wants me to go every day. Also, every four weeks he wants me to do an entire bowel prep. There is noooo way I am going to do that. Hate to break it to him, but whatever! I appreciate your advice as well as everyone elses. Thanks!!!!!

Somebody mentioned Iron. That can definitely cause constipation. If you are having problems with it, try SlowFe (iron supplement). Also, I heard that eating Sugar Free Popsicles can help things get moving, too.
I have had problems with diarrhea since surgery. But I had Irritable Bowel Syndrom with diarrhea when I was pre-op.
As for the bread, at 7+1/2 weeks out I still cannot eat untoasted bread. I tried a bit of my hubby's burger last night and 15 minutes later just the bread came back up. But I am able to eat tortillas and thin pizza crust with toppings on it.
Hope this helps!

I always think I have to 'go' and then when I do I think I am 'going' a bunch but low 'n behold it is just a tad! But I still feel good afterwards!
I started eating some bread this week. I bought Koepplingers Whole Wheat Lite bread and I used one slice cut in half. I put one piece of FF cheese slice, chicken deli meat and a sliver of ham deli meat on it. I also used just a bit of maynnoise. While it is just a half of sandwich it was more than enough and it taste better than any sandwich I have ever had! LOL
Is this bad, okay or what??
