WOW!!! You are doing great - Kudos! I had my surgery on the 16th. No regrets, but also no complications. I am tired often but it is getting better. I have lost 28 lbs since surgery and 49 total, as I lost some weight pre-op. My doc requires 8 weeks full liquids post-op. I tire of it, but try and keep it in persective! I'm not yet exercising like I should be. I walk about 3 times a week. I'm thrilled so far! Tell us about your feelings too! Blessings, Nancy

Hi, Ebony, I have lost a total of 42lbs since first consultation with my surgeon. I lost 18lbs preop and 24lbs since surgery. I had surgery on Sept 22. I have trying to walk everyday but I didnt get to today because of rain. I have been walking at least every other day. I have gotten up to 2miles so far. Other wise, I am feeling ok. I get tired easily but it is getting better. I miss work. I do not go bac****il November 3rd. I will be six weeks post op then. Right now, I am on purreed/blended diet. I am on children's multivitamin, B12 sublingual, calcium suppliment. I will take B 1 in about 2 weeks. Congradulations on your weight loss! Right now I need to work on getting my protein in. I get plenty of fluids in, I think. At times, it gets hard, thinking about food, but it does get better. I do not have any regrets. I have not seen this weight in 12 years. So, I am pleased with that I wish to be back at work. That will happen soon enough. Lisa

Hi there, I had my surgery on 9-30-04 so almost 2 weeks out. Regrets--YES I had them for about the first 10 days. I CRIED and CRIED all the time and wanted to change my mind, too late. Now that I am eating turkey, and regular foods and not puking I am feeling much better. Still sad sometimes when my husband goes to Wendy's and gets a burger, fries and coke and I can only have chili. It is like I lost my best friend and I am mourning ya know?? BUt I am feeling better, I have my ups and downs and hope to keep getting better. Anna

YES,I HOPE IT GETS BETTER AS A MATTER OF FACT IT WILL GET BETTER TAKE CARE EBONY

Ebony, Congrats and welcome to our September forum. I am glad you found us. WTG on your surgery and on losing 48 pounds, your doing great. So far I haven't had any regrets about anything. I am having a hard time keeping anything other then cream of wheat and protein drinks down. I am suppose to call my doctor but I am a trerrible procrastinator. I really don't have anything exciting to tell about myself today but I hope to get to know you better. Feel free to jump in on anything. One of the many great things about this room is that your never new for long. In a matter of a few responses you will just be one of the wonderful september loser's. Shannon
