I am still on pureed food almost 4 weeks post op ( and will be for two more). I am only taking in about 2 oz every 4-5 hours. How much is everyone else doing at this time? I am not the least bit hungry but don't have a full feeling after 2oz...mind you I don't feel hungry for more...just want to know what everyone else is doing at this point in the game. My doctor's plan says to eat whatever feels comfortable for my pouch, quantity wise, as long as the consistency would fit through a straw. I have never vomited, never been nauseous and my pouch has never hurt. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. (also to note, I have lost 37 pounds to date!!!)

I had to be on liquid for 2 weeks, soft for 3 and this Thursday can start experimenting. I am to have 3 meals per day with absolutely no snacks. I an eat a small Wendy's chili. It does take me 20-30 mintues but I can do it. That is 15 grams of protein. I drink a protein shake 20- grams and then have another meal. Usually 4 oz and that is abou it. J. Congrats on your weight loss!!! J.
