I MADE IT!
HI EVERYONE !! I AM BACK HOME AS OF FRIDAY (WENT IN ON WED) AND EVERYTHING WENT WELL I HAD THE LAP DONE THANK GOODNESS. HOSPITAL WAS WAS NOT BAD...JUST HAD TO WAIT IN THE RECOVERY ROOM FOR ABOUT 7 HRS BECAUSE THE INN WAS FULL HAD TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO BE DISCHARGED...BUT THE NURSES TOOK REAL GOOD CARE OF ME AND I WAS MOSTLY OUT OF IT ANYWAY...JUST THAT MY FAMILY HAD TO WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM ALL THAT TIME.... I DID EXPERIENCE TOO MUCH PAIN AS A MATTER OF FACT ONE THE NURSES MENTIONED THAT I WAS THE FIRST PATIENT SHE HAD EVER TREATED WHO USED AS LITTLE MORPHINE AS I DID...I KNOW MY PAIN TOLERANCE IS PRETTY HIGH SO I GUESS THATS WHY.... I'M STILL SORE AND MY LOWER BACK HURTS REALLY BAD SINCE I HAVE BEEN HOME. I HAVE HAD TO PUSH MYSELF TO DRINK MY LIQUIDS NOT REALLY WANTING ANYTHING.
I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND ENCOURAGEMENT AND I WILL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED WITH MY PROGRESS.
GOD BLESS TO ALL
Awright, Connie!! So glad to hear you are home and doing so well!!! Know what you mean about being stuck in the recovery room because of no beds!! I was in exactly the same boat......didn't bother me any, but really was hard on my family!! Aren't those nurses on 6W wonderful? I was really impressed with most of them.
About the back pain...........darned if I know what the deal is, but it is STILL a major issue for me at 4+ weeks out..........and it is getting sort of OLD........ Maybe soon it will go.....hope so.
Keep in touch.........and congrats! Wesie
