first post op appt today/am I average?

Hello All! Well I had my first post op appointment today. I got my stitches out...it amazes me that they were able to rearrange everything under all that fat and yet I have only these really tiny incisions...I ask the doc if it was all some clever fraternity prank...that really they didn't do anything to my insides! He assured me that yes, I was definitely rearranged but healing beautifully! I am down 13 pounds since surgery 9 days ago...does that put me in the average range or where? I lost 15 in the 5 days before sugery so that puts me at -27 in just under 2 weeks. I am certainly happy about that! I just wondered how that compares with others who started at around 330? Thanks! Your doing great. I really don't know what the average is. Each person seems to lose at a different pace. I am sure your doing great. Keep up the good work. Shannon

So hard i believe to know what is average, I had lost 11 pounds in 5 days after surgery then 7 more by the 2 week mark...I am gonna take whatever I can as I can...I started about 265....

Congrats! So, did it hurt to have the staples/drains removed? How bad? Johanna
